Relyve

What file types can I upload to Relyve?

Upload the photos and videos from an iPhone shoot, including HEIC photos and HEVC video.

Last updated

Relyve is built for the files a wedding content creator already has on their phone. That includes HEIC photos and HEVC video, alongside the other photos and videos you deliver from the day.

You do not need to convert an iPhone camera roll into a desktop format before the upload. If a file fails, the progress list marks it so you can see what still needs attention.

Why file format support matters

A file format describes how a photo or video is stored. iPhones commonly create HEIC photos and HEVC video because those formats keep high visual quality at more manageable file sizes. Relyve accepts those iPhone formats so creators do not need a separate conversion step before uploading.

Common photo and video files such as JPEG, MOV and MP4 can also appear in a phone-based workflow. The filename extension alone does not guarantee that a file is healthy; an interrupted recording or damaged export can still fail even when its extension is supported.

What to check when one file fails

  1. Open the original on the phone and play or view it from beginning to end.
  2. Confirm the file has finished downloading from any cloud photo library to the device.
  3. Retry that item from the upload queue on a stable connection.
  4. If it fails again, share the file name, extension and approximate size with support.
