Relyve

What happens to a client gallery if you cancel?

Cancelling a paid plan does not take down a gallery you have already shared. A free trial that ends without a plan does.

Last updated

Your client does not have a Relyve account. They open the gallery from the link you sent. What they can still open depends on whether you cancel a paid plan or let the free trial end.

If you cancel a paid plan

You keep the plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. The gallery stays available during that time.

When that period ends, you can no longer upload new files or edit galleries. The link you already sent still opens the gallery, and the photos and videos stay in your account. Cancelling does not remove a delivery the moment the plan ends.

If a payment does not go through, the gallery stays open while the plan is still active. If the plan then ends, the same rules apply.

If the free trial ends

The trial lasts 30 days. If you do not start a paid plan before it ends, your client can no longer open the gallery from the link.

The files stay in the Bin for 15 days. If you start a plan in that time, you can restore them from the Bin. After 15 days they are permanently deleted, and the gallery cannot be brought back.

Keep your own copies of any photos and videos you cannot afford to lose. Relyve delivers work to your clients. It is not a backup of your originals.

What to tell your client

Your client keeps the same link. Relyve does not email them when a plan changes. If you are cancelling a paid plan, you can tell them the gallery will still be there. If your trial is ending and you are not continuing, ask them to save anything they want before the link stops working.

Deleting a gallery yourself

Cancelling a paid plan does not delete a gallery. If you delete the gallery, or empty those files from the Bin, the link stops working for your client.
