How to use Relyve from your phone
Relyve is built for a phone-first workflow, with a web workspace when you want a larger screen.
Last updated
Relyve is made for the way wedding content is actually shot: on a phone, often before you are back at a desk. You can upload, check progress, and share a gallery from the iPhone app.
There is a web version as well, for the parts of the workflow that are easier on a larger screen. The phone stays the place you start. The iPhone app is in early access through TestFlight ahead of the App Store release.
What a phone-first workflow means
A phone-first workflow removes the step of copying an entire wedding Camera Roll to a computer before delivery can begin. You can choose media where it was captured, start the upload, check the queue and continue building the client gallery from the same device.
The web workspace complements the mobile app rather than replacing it. Use the larger screen when you prefer more room for reviewing or arranging a gallery. Changes belong to the same account and delivery, so the client still receives one gallery link.
When the app needs to stay open
Files under 2 GB can continue uploading after you leave Relyve or lock the phone. Files over 2 GB need the app to remain open until their transfer finishes. The upload queue tells you when Relyve must stay open and when it is safe to leave.
Video processing is separate from uploading. Once the transfer has finished, server-side processing can continue without keeping the phone awake.
