What to do when your storage is full

Free space from the Bin or upgrade your plan when Relyve says storage is full and uploads cannot continue.

Last updated

When your storage is full, new uploads cannot finish. The app will tell you to upgrade your plan, or to free space, before you can continue.

  1. Open Manage storage to see how much space you are using.
  2. Delete files or galleries you no longer need. Deleted items go to the Bin first.
  3. Empty the Bin when you are sure those files should go, so the space is freed.
  4. Or open Upgrade storage and choose a larger plan.

If the message says to add a storage plan, you do not have an active plan yet. Get storage from Upgrade before uploading again.

Why uploads stop when storage is full

Your storage plan defines how much uploaded media the account can hold. Before accepting more data, Relyve checks whether the new files fit inside the available space. Stopping at the limit protects the account from accepting a batch it cannot store completely.

Deleting media normally moves it to the Bin first, where it can still be recovered. Because recoverable files still exist, they may continue to occupy storage until the Bin is emptied. Emptying the Bin is permanent, so check its contents before confirming.

Free space or increase the plan

Free space when old deliveries no longer need to be stored, or upgrade when the account is actively using the current capacity. After space becomes available, return to the upload queue and retry the items that could not continue. A storage-full message is not fixed by changing Wi-Fi networks.
