How to save a gallery to your home screen

Your client can save the gallery to their phone’s home screen, or to their computer, and open it again with one tap. It sits beside their other apps, so the delivery is easy to find after the message thread has moved on.

1. Open the gallery link in the phone’s browser.
2. Use the browser’s Share or menu action and choose Add to Home Screen.
3. Name it if you want, then add it. The icon opens that gallery again.

What Add to Home Screen creates

Adding a gallery to the home screen creates a shortcut to the shared web address. It gives the delivery an app-like icon and removes the need to search through old messages, but it does not install the Relyve creator app or create a client account.

The shortcut continues to open the current gallery at the same link. If the creator changes the cover, sections, password or download settings, the shortcut opens the updated version rather than preserving an old copy.

What the client should expect

The gallery still needs an internet connection to load media that is not already available to the browser. Password protection still applies, and the creator can still control downloads. Removing the shortcut from the home screen does not delete the gallery or any files already saved to Photos.
